Polling Place Team Leader Responsibilities

1. Request to become the Polling place team leader for your polling place through the county Coordinator for your county.  Find such County Coordinator at http://ronpaulvotecountmd.com

1 a. After reviewing polling place team leader responsibilities Send a confirmation email affirming your commitment. This email needs to include your: Name, Address, Phone number, email.

2. Receive confirmation of you being the contact for the new Polling place team leader designation for your polling place.

3. Develop a team (2-3 people is sufficient) to cover your polling place from open to close on election day for both the primary and the general elections. Polling places are open from 7am – 8pm. (You can arrange to have other polling places covered as well but we prefer quality over quantity. If possible canvass as many of the neighborhoods for your polling place as possible so that voters will be aware of Ron Paul and the affidavit effort. (See this trifold to be given to possible Ron Paul voters as a tool for canvassing)

a. Set up a small table, create a large sign or banner asking voters to register their votes with you. Try to capture as many voters as possible. 100% is the goal. (Do this outside of the electioneering zone). Print voter registration sheets emailed to you by county coordinator, you will need many copies to cover every voter in your polling place.

b. Record the totals posted at your polling place. (Poll closing tapes usually posted at front entrance)

c. Compare the official totals posted at your polling place to the number of Ron Paul votes you have registered using the voter registration sheets emailed to you by your county coordinator. DO NOT tell any one outside of your team what your numbers are!!!!

d. Use the polling place data report sheet emailed to you by your county coordinator to send your findings and comparison to your county coordinator on election night by email. (this form will be an “open office writer” document) to download open office visit “openoffice.org” It is a free widely used office suite comparable to Microsoft.

4. Remember YOU ARE COLLECTING LEGAL EVIDENCE and or compiling a list of voters who are willing to affidavit their votes to ESTABLISH LEGAL EVIDENCE. Because of this we urge you to be as thorough when working a precinct/polling place as possible and capture as much of the vote as possible for a real comparison. In order to establish the existence of fraud we need to prove that we have more votes for Ron Paul than the official totals reflect. SO we must try to capture every vote.

5. Be on the alert in the coming days/weeks ahead to mobilize, in the event that we stage demonstrations, contact voters requesting affidavits, engage in legal proceedings/lawsuits etc!!
